Ok, everyone needs to keep the 17th free and the 30th free.
Here's why...
The 16th is my 18th Birthday, but it's a Wednesday - not a great going out night really. So Thursday .. Quigs is open a bit later and drinks are cheaper, plus Q Club is open. It's also results day. So after results I'm going to the pub and inviting everyone to join me. Then we stay out until everywhere in Bideford is closed. I figure that gives us a good 13 hours drinking.
For the 30th I'm going to try and organise a big "Edgehill Reunion" with everyone (or those that can/want to come) we were with from L5th to U6th. This will be held (hopefully) at my place, in a field, with tents, booze and music. We should have a bbq on Duckpool beach in the evening then head back to mine. It will be bring your own booze and bring your own food. BYOBAF? Something like that. And it's a no non-edgehillian thing - that is, no boyfriends and girlfriends if they never went to Edgehill with us lot ... so yeah, no boyfriends and girlfriends. Or parents/brothers/sisters/pets/children/uncles/aunties/cousins/toys/glass doors.
So yeah, keep the dates free, and spread the word. The more people the better!

Just to let you know, i won't be able to make the 16/17th but i will be able to make the 30th.
So your birthday being on a Wednesday means you have to celebrate it on a Thursday. That's fair enough. So what's the logic of then deciding to have a massive party at yours on a Wednesday, ruling many people out of going simply because it is midweek. Damn hobo.
Because people usually go away/go out/have lives at the weekend and they wont give that up for ex-edgehillians. There's plenty of notice for anyone to book a day off if need be. Plus it's at the end of the month - kinda like "last chance" before uni stuff/jobs/life takes over.
I'm not so sure. They're going to have to take the thursday off too because they're going to be waking up, hung over, in a tent, 20 miles from home. A w/end might be a better plan, as you just know that gav/tim/helen/emily/rachel/etc aren't going to take 2 days off work.
They don't have to take two days off, just one if they work early mornings. Most people I know don't .. so it should be ok .. we'll see when I ask more people. So far everyone I've asked has said yes.
They only have to take the thusday off if need be - because they can come after they finish work on the wednesday. It's an evening thing - starting with the bbq on the beach. So if people leave work at 5 that's fine..they can come after then.

11 is the most commented I think .. that was the Edgehill post I did when we'd left. Seems nothing gets people talking like talk about Edgehill .. I couldn't imagine why.
